Get lost in the lush evergreen gardens with palm trees, cactus and exotic flowers. The Raffles Place is a starting point for one of the best free self-guided tours of Singapore. First, explore this financial heart with the tallest buildings in the city. Once you have had enough of stunning views, walk to the Boat Quay, following the river towards the Clarke Quay. All your senses should be satisfied by now, and it is time to move onto the coastal pleasures of the city. And the most expensive one! The beach-highlight of Singapore is definitely the Sentosa Island. But before you reach the island, you will want to research the Vivo City, which is the largest shopping mall in Singapore with some of the best food courts.

The Harbour Front is home to the Singapore cruise centre.
